Tip of the Day: When your lover dresses to go out, be sure to pay attention and direct your gaze to admire him or her with your eyes.  Tell them how fabulous they look and seal it with a kiss.

Love letter of the Day:

To my one and only love,

I’ve been waiting for you for so long, and now that you are here with me, I will never ever let you go. We both know that life is not always fair. We know that there will come a time when we have to face trials in our relationship, but we will overcome because our love will see us through. They say promises are made to broken, but I say promises is meant to be for as long as we believe in the power of love… I know in my heart you believe it too. I am so thankful and so very happy that I have found my destiny in you.

You are my happiness, a very special blessing God has given to me. I’m so excited spending my whole life with someone that I truly love and care about, spending each special day with all the love in our heart of hearts. I love you so much and will always love until forever. That’s a promise that I’ll surely going to keep forever in my heart.

Maribella

Poem of the Day:

Again And Again, However We Know The Landscape Of Love
Again and again, however we know the landscape of love
and the little churchyard there, with its sorrowing names,
and the frighteningly silent abyss into which the others
fall: again and again the two of us walk out together
under the ancient trees, lie down again and again
among the flowers, face to face with the sky.

by Rainer Maria Rilke

Valentine’s Day Story:

Last year on Valentine’s Day, my husband took me to lunch at a local area restaurant. As I was looked over the menu, a woman came over and asked if I was Robin, I said “yes” and she gave me a chocolate heart with my husband’s name on it. A few minutes later, three women came over and started to serenade me. My husband (Dick) had hired this group, to sing to me for Valentine’s Day. Our local  newspaper heard about this and came with a reporter and photographer and took our pictures. The whole restaurant was watching, the wives were crying and the husbands were wondering why they didn’t do something like that.  We have been married for 28 years and he can still surprise me.

Love letter of the Day:

Count Leo Tolstoy, Russian writer

To Valeria Arsenev, his fiancee.

November 2, 1856

I already love in you your beauty, but I am only beginning to love in you that which is eternal and ever precious – your heart, your soul. Beauty one could get to know and fall in love with in one hour and cease to love it as speedily; but the soul one must learn to know. Believe me, nothing on earth is given without labour, even love, the most beautiful and natural of feelings.

Poem of the Day:

Words can tell what hearts divine
This most romantic time of year:
So will you be my Valentine?

I’ll be yours if you’ll be mine
Till golden moon meets midnight drear.
For words can tell what hearts divine

When air’s perfume and water’s wine,
And cupids hover at one’s ear:
So will you be my Valentine?

And do we feelings dare define
In phrases adamant and clear?
For words can tell what hearts divine,

And souls can step across a line
On days when angels wait to cheer:
So will you be my Valentine?

Ah, love! Let love this one day shine
On fancies lush and passions sheer!
For words can tell what hearts divine:
So will you be my Valentine?

By George Friedrich Handel.

Valentine’s Day Story:

He took me to a candle light dinner. He gave me some candy hearts and we laid on the beach and looked at the stars. Then we kissed underneath the moon light. As he took my hand he gave me my Valentines gifts. He gave me a diamond heart necklace, 23real roses and one fake rose. And he told me that he would love me until the last rose died, and to this day we are still together.

I swear that he smelt so good that night and that the look in his eyes as we kissed was the most magical moment ever in my life.

The way he held me, made me fell like no one could harm me and I felt as if he would be next to me until the day I die.

When I got the roses from him and he told me that he loved me until the last one died that’s when I knew that we were meant to be forever and that no person in the world would come between me and him.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
